ISLAMABAD: Dr Abdul Wahab, a lecturer in COMSATS Institute of IT, has completed his PhD in merely two years.
He was selected for MS leading to PhD studies in applied mathematics, under HEC’s foreign scholarship programme, in France. He proceeded to France in 2007, where he successfully completed his MSc (2008) and MS (2009) in applied mathematics from University of Paris VI (UPMC).
He started his PhD from Ecole Polytechnique, under the supervision of Professor Habib Ammari (CNRS & ENS), in October 2009, which he defended successfully in November 2011. During his PhD, he worked on mathematical techniques related to biomedical imaging. He has already published or submitted eight research articles in leading ISI journals, including a chapter in a book published by Springer-Verlag. -Dailytimes
