In response to directives by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, prayers for rain ‘Salaat Al Istisqaa’ will be offered on Saturday, December 25, 2010, at 7.30am in mosques and musallas across the country.
The faithful will pray to God for blessing the land with rain, in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to seek rain from Allah. – Khaleejtimes
