ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister’s Complaint Cell has taken notice of two petitions, one for provision of job to a disabled and other for removal of illegal electricity connections. A petitioner Nasir Iqbal, resident of Okara in his application had requested that he had applied for appointment in Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) as a Commercial Assistant against the quota for disable persons. He complained that LESCO did not observe the quota.Upon intervention of Chief Coordinator PM’s Grievance Wing, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, the LESCO appointed the petitioner on the said post against the quota for disabled persons.Another petitioner Shafiq Ahmad Javed resident of Rawalpindi in his application had requested that Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (IESCO) had illegally provided two connections from his independent transformer.Chief Coordinator Sanjrani intervened the matter on which the IESCO removed the illegal connections – APP
