Sindh govt bans late night functions, marriages

KARACHI: The Sindh government, with immediate effect, has imposed ban on holding of marriages and other functions beyond 12 midnight all over Sindh. In pursuance of Section 195 (1)(a) CrPC all SHOs of the province were hereby authorised to register complaints under Section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 CrPC against the owners of marriage halls, lawns, hotels and other establishments where such functions are held without proper prior permission from the Home Department – Dailytimes
