3 day Pak Army promotional board meeting starts today

ISLAMABAD: Three day meeting of Pakistan Army’s promotion board would start from today (Wednesday) at the Army General Headquarters in which more than 300 officers would be promoted.Defence sources told Online that the meetings would be chaired by Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and would be attended by all members of the promotional board as well as Corps Commanders. The meeting will give recommendations for the ranks of promotion from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel and Colonel to Brigadier.All the promotions would be given on the basis of seniority, performance professional and operational capabilities.
