Sindh chief secretary seeks report regarding census work

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Secretary Abdul Subhan Memon has sought the report from the Census Commission Sindh and the District Coordination Officers (DCOs) regarding the house listing operation pertaining to the Census 2011. An official statement here on Tuesday said the chief secretary has also convened a meeting to review the house listing operation. The meeting has been convened in the office of the chief secretary on April 13 (today). The members of the provincial coordination committee and DCO, EDO (R) and DDO (R) Karachi have been invited. The meeting for Hyderabad and adjoining districts has been convened on April 14 while the meeting for Sukkur and Larkana, including adjoining areas, will be held on April 15 and 16 respectively. The house listing operation will last till April 19, it was further stated. – Dailytimes
