In continuation of its Enterpreneurship Program directed towards empowering young people to apply their talent and technical skills towards self employment and self owned business activity, Jazba Foundation held a get together,on Monday,22nd August at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club,in the presence of some very generous donors like Kamal Nasir Khan, Mian Muhammed Saeed Arain,Faisal Ijaz Khan,Chairman,PVTC,management,teachers and trainers from PVTC,the Jazba Foundation Team,including Lt.Gen(r) Khalid Maqbool,Pervaiz Qureshi,Faisal Umer, and benefciaries to award and provide tools and equipment to 45 individuals who have completed their diplomas from the Punjab Vocational Training Council(PVTC) in the fields of refrigeration,dress making ,plumbing,industrial electrician and artificial insemination.
As a result of this effort these technically qualified diploma holders will no longer be in a state of frenzy,hopelessly running around, seeking jobs;on the contrary they will be placed in a position of strength and optimism and able to start their own business,thereby providing essential succour to their own self and family, in a very dignified manner.Jazba Foundation,as part of its vision is determined to reduce from the society,the scourge and misery of unemployment and although the task is gigantic,the leap forward has been initiated with an uninterrupted back up.And all this based on a pledge and a promise to change things and raise standard of the poverty stricken.To this end Jazba Foundation is also involved in:-Sponsorship of educational programmes for children
-Raising matrimonial funds for utilising in matrimonial ceremonies
-Minimising distress of victims of different natural calamities and disasters
Also present on this occasion were some beneficiaries of the past Entrepreneurship Programmes and they expressed their feelings of hope and optimism that this facility has brought into their lives.This included Rukhsana Aziz who is into computer composing and Raheela Riaz,Saira Sajid,Muhammed Shakil and Hafiza Yasmin.Speaking on this occasion,Faisal Ijaz said that international agencies like Asian Development Bank and local donors are willing to take this scheme forward.Donors like Mian Saeed and Kamal Nasir Khan also commited to contribute generously.
