KARACHI: Former Justice Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim took oath as the new Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), media reported on Monday.
The oath-taking ceremony took place at Supreme Court. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took the oath.Ebrahim is an eminent Pakistani jurist and constitutional expert. He has also served as Federal Law Minister, Attorney General of Pakistan, judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Governor of Sindh. – Brecorder
