UK’s Chief of General Staff meets COAS at GHQ

United Kingdom’s Chief of General Staff Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest including regional security situation and measures to further enhance defence cooperation between both the countries came under discussion during the meeting.

UK’s Chief of General Staff also appreciated successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts of Pakistan for regional security, ISPR stated. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented Guard of Honour to the dignitary. General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
