Corps Commanders briefed on security situation

ISLAMABAD, Oct 7 (APP): The Corps Commanders who met on Thursday with Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani in the chair were briefed on the security situation. According to a ISPR news release, “134th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held at General Headquarters today. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani chaired the meeting.”The conference was part of regular monthly meetings.
The Forum was given a comprehensive briefing on the security situation.
Recent border firing incident and all aspects related to it also came under discussion.
The participants expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness of the Army, the news release added – App
