PM inaugurates ‘Chen One’ outlet at diplomatic enclave

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani inaugurated an outlet of ‘Chen One’ – one of the country’s leading chain of stores that deals in garments and home furnishing products – here at the Diplomatic Enclave on Thursday evening. Chen One, which is running 17 stores in major cities of Pakistan as well as in the Middle East, opened its 18th ‘exclusive home furnishing store’ at the diplomatic enclave to provide basic necessities to diplomats and their families, who are often afraid of moving around due to security concerns.The opening of Chen One, a Pakistani brand, will also help promote Pakistani products in various countries of the world, as diplomats and their families would visit the store for shopping, Chief Operating Officer of Chen One, Mian Muhammad Kashif told APP.Chanab Group of Faisalabad, which owns the chain of ‘Chen One’ stores, has an annual exports of around Rs. 10 billion of textile products.Chairman Chanab Group Mian Muhammad Latif, Chief Executive Mian Muhammad Naeem, CEO Mian Muhammad Kashif and Director Chen One Mian Muhammad Umair welcomed the guests at the inauguration.The inaugural ceremony was attended among others by some political figures and diplomats and their families. – APP
