Tremor in Lahore, Other Cities

An earthquake jolted Lahore and several adjoining cities on Thursday evening, terrifying people who rushed out of buildings and houses for safety. Tremors were also felt in Kasur, Chhanga Manga, Chunian, Nankana, Sheikhupura, Narowal, Gujranwala and Hafizabad. Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Islamabad office said the intensity of the earthquake was 3.4 at the Richter scale. Its epicentre was in Hafizabad and focal depth 66km. Dawn
