PCB approves 19-member probable squad for first Test against Australia

The PCB Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan has approved the names of 19 probables submitted by Chief Selector Moin Khan in consultation with other selectors, captain Misbah-ul-Haq and head coach Waqar Younis for the first Test against Australia.

The two-Test series commences on October 22, 2014 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

PCB approves 19-member probable squad for first Test against Australia

After the four-day match between Pakistan ‘A’ vs Australia (Oct. 15-18) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, this shall be pruned to the regulation 15 members.

The 19-member squad:

1. Ahmed Shehzad

2. Mohammad Hafeez

3. Taufeeq Umar

4. Shan Masood

5. Sami Aslam

6. Misbah-ul-Haq – Captain

7. Younis Khan

8. Asad Shafiq

9. Azhar Ali
