Popular designer Brand Junaid Jamshed begins its ‘Lawn Exhibition’ tomorrow, showcasing a range of summer prints featuring the lightweight fabric. Perfect for warm weather, lawn is a plain-weave textile made from linen or cotton, which boasts a silky and untextured feel. The exhibition coincides with the brand’s second store opening in the UAE, as it adds an outlet in Sharjah’s ZamZam Market to its Bur Dubai premises.
Both shops will host the exhibition, which runs from Thursday to Saturday.
Junaid Jamshed, which operates 44 stores in Pakistan and the UK, promises unique designs, vibrant colours and an array of fabrics and embroidery during the three-day extravaganza. Indian motifs will abound – from Kalaashi patterns to Sindhi patchwork to Rajasthani mirror work – and there will be a 10 per cent discount on lawn clothing.
Timings are 10am to 11pm on Thursday and Saturday, and 10am to 11.30am, then 2pm to 10.30pm on Saturday. – khaleejtimes
