Sajjad records 3rd win in a row in World Snooker

KARACHI: Pakistan’s mercurial cueists Muhammad Sajjad maintained his winning run when he blanked Shuji Hase of Japan 4-0 on Wednesday to record his third successive win in IBSF World Snooker Championship in Damascus (Syria), according to a message received here.Placed in group “A”, Asian Championship runner-up Sajjad, who had the honor of making the breaks of 110, 60 and 56 in the event so far, thrashed his Japanese opponent with ease.Pakistan number one Imran Shahzad defeated Emir Yigit of Turkey 4-1. Imran Shehzad dropped the second frame to overhaul his rival 71-08, 45-66, 61-20, 123-0, 92-09 with a break of 100 in the fourth frame.Sohail Shahzad playing his maiden global event recorded his best win when he defeated veteran Alex Borg Malta 4-1. He won 88-15, 25-85, 76-04, 82-22, 64-63.Sohail drawn in group “L” has won three of his four league games while Imran Shehzad has won three and lost one match in pool “H” – App
