President lays foundation stone of PTV Larkana building

NAUDERO: President Asif Ali Zardari here on Monday performed the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Larkana building of the Pakistan Television’s National News Bureau.The Managing Director of Pakistan Television, Yousuf Baig Mirza, briefed the President on the occasion.The building to cost Rs. 37.22 million would be completed in 20 months.The President also inaugurated the launching of a daily newspaper from Larkana “The Fast Time”.The Chief Editor of the Newspaper, Mashooq Ali Jatoi, informed on the occasion that this is the first daily appearing from Larkana and that it would be brought out regularly.The President appreciated the media team of the newspaper.Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Information Minister, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Federal Information Secretary, Taimur Azmat Osman, and provincial ministers were also present on the occasions. – APP
